TEHRAN Majlis Speaker Mahdi Karrubi on Wednesday underlined the need for the Iranian nation to display unity, solidarity, tolerance and patience in order to solve the existing problems.

He made the remark in an open session of the Majlis during which President Mohammad Khatami was formally sworn in for his second and final four-year term in office.
